The red line shows the route of the Blue Heron V. The trip begins in Little Tub Harbor, then into Big Tub Harbor, and over to Flowerpot Island where the vessel stops. Due to low water levels this year the Blue Heron V will stay offshore and transfer passengers ashore using one of our RIBs (Rigid Inflatable Boats). Once ashore you can explore Flowerpot Island and take a later boat back to Tobermory. A popular option is to take one of our RIBs directly back to Tobermory instead of the Blue Heron V. Most people spend from two to four hours on the Island, but you can stay as long as you want. The length of the cruise if you do not stay on the Island is one hour and twenty minutes.
