Vessel Pet Policy

Pet policy for Blue Heron boats, Tobermory, Ontario.

Non aggressive, people friendly dogs only.
Must be well behaved.
No aggressive breeds.
$5.00 charge per dog ( tax included ).
All dogs are subject to Captain, crew, and ticket booth staff discretion. We have the right to refuse any dog.
Dogs only. We do not accept any other pets/animals.
Dogs must be accompanied by an adult and leashed at all times.
Lap sized dogs ( under 15 pounds or 6.8 kilograms ) are allowed on all vessels.
Larger dogs ( over 15 pounds or 6.8 kilograms ) are only allowed on the RIBs ( rigid inflatable boats ). Absolutely no large dogs on the Blue Heron V or Great Blue Heron.
Dogs and owners will board the RIBs ( rigid inflatable boats ) first or last and proceed to the back of the vessel. They will remain there with the owner staying between the dog and the rest of the passengers.
Owner will be responsible for cleaning up after the dog and for any damages incurred.
Park policy also requires dogs to be leashed when on Flowerpot Island.
