Thank you very much for your interest in the Harbourside Motel. We are the closest motel to the ferry dock and we are right on picturesque Little Tub Harbour. Every room is just steps from the Chi-Cheemaun ferry dock and Georgian Bay. We have thirty-seven units with a variety of water views and facilities, including some with kitchenettes. All units have cable color TV, electric heat and several have air conditioning. (Be note that only the rooms specified have Air Conditioning.)
Restaurants adjacent to our property include take out, two regular service family dining rooms and our very own BeaverTails pastry outlet.
The Harbourside Motel has several patios where you can enjoy watching sailing and power yachts and tour boats arriving every minute. Enjoy a picnic under our shade trees or soak up the sun as you lounge in one of the motel's many wooden Adirondack chairs. This is a great place to relax. Be sure to phone for reservations to avoid disappointment.
Also on the motel property are three stores, the Mariner Chart Shop, Blue Pine Gifts, and directly below the motel, the Net Shed. The Great Blue Heron, our 125 passenger boat and the 96 passenger Blue Heron V tour boat dock behind the Motel. The vessels leave on tours of Fathom Five National Marine Park and Flowerpot Island. We especially recommend the sunset cruise along the spectacular north coast of the Bruce Peninsula. As a guest at the motel you are entitled to a special of two tickets for the price of one on the sunset cruise.
The Blue Heron Company also operates Wireless Bay Cottages. These are seven modest, basic cottages with a great view and location on Little Tub Harbor. They are about a kilometer ( 15 minute walk ) from the Harbourside Motel and offer a completely different experience and view.
